GFPD Youth Meets
The Grand Forks Park District hosts summer track meets for kids ages 3-14. We need high school track and field athletes to help work the meet. These meets are open to anyone, so if you have younger siblings or know of people with young kids, spread the word.
Earn $15 per meet to work with kids and help grow the sport of track and field.
When: Every Monday night in June (3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th) starting at 5:45 PM. If it’s your first time, show up at 5:30 PM to handle paperwork. You will need to know your social security number to get paid, so bring that with you/memorize it.
Where: Cushman Field
You do not need to commit to every single meet. Coach Bakke or Coach Eckert will send out a message on Sunday nights until they have enough workers. Respond if you are able to work.
How to sign up: Coach Bakke will use the Remind app to send out messages and communicate information. What you need to do:
